Description

This is my first time solar imaging, using a lunt LS 60 THa that my club could borrow for trial. I used my 290mm mini guide cam for the aquisition of 8 panels of 1000 frames, registered in Autostackert, assembled in photoshop with photo merge, wavelet deconvolution in astrosurface, and finaly colors and fine tunning in photoshop again. First time so I made a few mistakes not allowing me to pull protuberances out more, however I felt great joy being able to get such an image for the first trial. Solar imaging is really fantastic, I would adivse everyone to try an Ha solar scope if they can as it is really astonishing!
Interesting on that picture is the active region AR 3190, the biggest sunspot on the image, that is said to be five time the size of the earth. Next steps to figure a good way to add the earth on scale on the image.
